U-Count Homeless Connect 2020

Thursday, January 23rd from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM

U-Count Homeless Connect works directly with over 300 homeless individuals seeking services, as well as with case managers and staff from other agencies, to make connections to hard-to-access resources, services and goods during an impactful “One-Stop-Shop” event. These resources can help make a successful transition from homelessness to housing. During this event, we hope to host over 40 service providers from our continuum of care with a goal to promote wellness and housing. Services offered at the event have included: legal aid, child support, identification services, hygiene materials, haircuts, health exams, hot meals, Veteran services, housing assistance and food, with the Florida Department of Health in Escambia County safely providing Hepatitis A and Influenza vaccinations. All proceeds from this event will help Opening Doors NWFL eliminate homelessness in Escambia and Santa Rosa County, your sponsorship will support the programs so urgently needed by homeless, at risk children and their families. Thanks to partners like you, Opening Doors NWFL has been able to make a real impact in the lives of children and families in crisis.
