Continuum of Care Supplemental to Address Unsheltered and Rural Homelessness (Special NOFO)

RELEASED: September 8, 2022

On June 22, 2022, the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) released a Special Continuum of Care (CoC) Notice of Funding Opportunity (NOFO) for competitive funding to support communities to address unsheltered and rural homelessness. This is a first-of-its-kind grant opportunity to provide resources to address unsheltered homelessness and homeless encampments, including set aside funding for rural communities. Applications are due to HUD on October 20, 2022. Escambia-Santa Rosa Counties CoC is eligible for the Unsheltered Homelessness Set-Aside from this NOFO (but not the Rural Homelessness Set-Aside) and plans to apply for these funds.
